John and Chico- He has visited John several times so I looked it up and it means transformation, hard work and good luck. Many cultures view beetles as a sign of personal growth, fresh start or an upcoming life shift.
It was a really nice day, still hot but but 85-87 degrees. John and I started in the garden. Then we helped Dario with the chicken pin. After lunch and a shower Elena taught us to make kombucha and we canned some pickles.
John and I are both struggling to retain Italian. we decided to write down words and sentence to see if it helps. Elena loaned me the book “The light Eaters” by Zoe Schlanger.
